Why SuiteSqr Was Formed
The story behind why we built this
It Started With a Client We Almost Couldn't Help
A while back, a client came to us two months from go-live with an implementation that needed saving. The catch was their industry wasn't one we or anyone on our team had deep experience in, and neither did our close colleagues.
But we met them in person and felt a pull to help. So we got to work finding the right person.
We searched LinkedIn, posted on Reddit, scanned countless service provider websites and dug through the NetSuite partner directory. Page after page of websites that all say the same things. It took us several days and multiple interviews to find qualified candidates.
That's the reality of finding the right NetSuite expertise. Word of mouth and luck. It shouldn't be that hard.
The Problem Wasn't Just Ours
That experience wasn't a one-off. As NetSuite consultants who spend as much time in NetSuite forums as we do in NetSuite itself, we kept seeing the same question surface:
"Does anyone have partner or consultant recommendations for XYZ?"
The replies always follow the same pattern. Partners pitch themselves. A few customers vouch for whoever they used. Middlemen offer to broker introductions for a fee. Inboxes fill up with unsolicited messages. It's noisy, scattered, and rarely leads to a confident decision.
The real problem runs deeper than a messy forum thread. There's nowhere to go and see how a firm actually performs. No verified reviews from real engagements. No way to compare providers side by side on the things that matter: industry experience, module depth, project track record. Companies end up relying on whoever they happen to hear about, and great firms and individuals doing exceptional work get passed over because nobody knows they exist.
We kept asking: what if there was one place where all of this lived? A public square for the NetSuite ecosystem. Every provider, from the largest partners to independent consultants, with profiles built on substance, not marketing. Where customers share honest reviews of the work that was done, so the next company doesn't have to start from zero. Where finding the right fit takes minutes instead of weeks of networking and guesswork.
A place where your track record is your reputation, not your brand name or your marketing budget.
That gap felt too obvious to ignore. So we built it.
Built By People Who Live In This Ecosystem
SuiteSqr was built by a team of NetSuite consultants who have spent years implementing, optimizing, and supporting NetSuite for companies across industries. We have been on both sides of the service provider search. We know what a good fit looks like and what a bad one costs.
We are not a software company that stumbled into the NetSuite space. We are practitioners who got tired of waiting for someone else to build this and decided to do it ourselves.
We Didn't Want to Build Just a Directory
A directory solves part of the problem. You can browse, you can filter, you can read profiles. But browsing still puts the burden on you. You still have to know the right questions to ask, the right filters to apply, the right criteria to weigh against each other.
We knew from our own experience that the hardest part wasn't finding a list of service providers. It was knowing which one was actually right for your specific situation.
So we built a matching tool.
Answer a few questions about your company: your industry, your size, the modules you need, the capabilities you are looking for, where you are located, and what kind of help you need right now. The engine scores every service provider in the directory against your answers and returns your top matches, ranked by fit with a plain language explanation of why each one ranked where it did.
It is not a generic recommendation. It is scored against the specific details of your situation, weighted toward what matters most: the technical capabilities and module expertise that will determine whether your implementation actually succeeds.
"What used to take days of searching and a calendar full of intro calls can now take five minutes."
More Than a Directory: A Place Where the Ecosystem Talks
What makes SuiteSqr different isn't just the search. It's what happens when real people start sharing real experiences in one place.
When a customer leaves a review about how a service provider handled a difficult go-live, that's useful to the next company evaluating that service provider. When a firm responds to that review publicly, acknowledging what happened, explaining what they learned, showing how they've grown; that's even more useful. It tells you something no sales call ever will.
That back and forth matters.
"A service provider who engages with their reviews is showing you exactly who they are. A service provider who ignores them is showing you something too."
Over time, this creates something the NetSuite ecosystem has never really had before: a public record of how firms actually operate, straight from the people who worked with them. Not curated testimonials on a service provider's own website. Real accounts, in their own words, with the service provider's voice alongside them.
That intimacy, customer and service provider in the same conversation, visible to everyone, is what builds trust in a space where trust is everything.
A Better Way to Find and Be Found
SuiteSqr is a centralized directory for the NetSuite ecosystem. Customers can search for service providers by industry, modules, capabilities, company size, and location. They can read verified reviews from real implementations. They can use our matching tool to find their best fit in minutes instead of weeks.
For service providers, it is a level playing field. A boutique firm with deep expertise in a single industry sits alongside the largest players. Your profile speaks for itself. Your clients can vouch for you publicly. Your next customer can find you without already knowing your name.
We built what we wished had existed when we needed it.
"This ecosystem deserves better. So we built something."
